OUR HISTORY
In the 1800s, Willow Riverside was once the Crochran Plantation, considered to be the center of social activity and intellectual interest in Bastrop. Many parties, lectures and concerts took place here over the years and we are excited to steward this special place back to its former glory. Consisting of 11 acres in the middle of town, Willow Riverside is home to many beautiful historical buildings that are hand crafted. A tour through the property and you will get lost in time, imagining how life was 200 years ago.
A relaxing retreat in the heart of Bastrop, guests are surprised to find their stay feels more like a escape into nature. Rooms are nestled next to the tall pines and wildlife watching becomes an activity from their front porch. Rocking chairs, benches and firepits are purposefully positioned throughout the property to encourage guests to unplug and relax.
